And I am using a fast SanDisk 3.0 USB drive. It showed 7 mins to complete install, it now shows 4 mins left after waiting 3 HOURS : O. It is still lagging even now during install, the cursor jumpy and laggy. I have performed a reinstall of high Sierra which only got me into the os but after a restart again the same error message.Īfter getting around that I thought I'm just going to go back to Sierra. I should state that everything is slow, the boot is slow, using disk utility at start up is laggy. Another said to go into safe mode which worked to get past the error but again was even slower if that was possible.
